Chivalry is Dead.

I kinda agree to some points they actually mentioned. But it's a fact that they kind of stereotype all the guys. I believe not all guys are like this?

Fact: Couples get really boring because of those usual dating routines.(or maybe not date,even hangout). Like watching movie and dinner. But i don't think we should totally blame it on the guys?

Though i agree very much that it IS VERY BORING!!!

I mean, what's there for couples to really do in Singapore? It's SO boringgg. what can we expect from the guys? In relationships, it's not just the guy who are suppose to plan,if girls think it's boring cos guys only knows how to use these "dating venues" why don't the girl suggest something interesting instead?

Right? it's none of the girl's or guy's fault because we are living in Singapore.

Agreement : Miscommunication. Guys really has a very different mindset from girls. Maybe not all, but generally,they are. We are always on the different frequency when we are talking from our point of view. Girls and Guys think very differently. I just can't stand it when some guys have such "MAN" thinking. Like forever carrying around pride everywhere.

Plus : Guys should learnt to be more gentlemen. Some guys are which totally great. But those who aren't are really turned offs.

Never shout or scold your girl.
Coax them when they are angry(no matter whose fault is it) * i know guys would feel wtf but seriously,a guy should do this in a r/s.BECAUSE You're a GUY.Simple as that.just like a girl would cook for the guy because SHE's a GIRL.Not being sexist here. But that is just a gentlemen act don't you agree?
Be the domineering one always coming up with new ideas and make her feel relaxed with you.Girls hate guys who are boring just like how boys hate their girls for being boring too..
Treat. Guys who wants to go out with a girl, Don't make the girl pay for food. It's so UN-GENTLEMEN. Not saying guys have to ALWAYS pay, but maybe on special occasions or even treating occasionally. Since i work at BFF(fnb) i've seen ALOT of guys who just stand there waiting for their gfs to pay, which i think it's so gross, like come on,are you gigglo? Is your wallet stuck to your pocket or what? Guys please pluck out your wallet BEFORE HAND when you're paying for something together with your girl. This is called being gentlemen. -.-

Wanted to try tepanyaki cos i've never tried before! So brandon brought me to wisma for tepanyaki Lunch after i got my hair treatment done in the morning....

My Last Moments

Hi all, finally had the time to blog about the last day of my 2011.

So i met up with brandon for dimsum in the afternoon @parkway parade after having much considerations and hesitating to go out due to several reasons.... Then it was potluck with his family(including uncles,aunties,cousins,grandma and grandpa) ^^. After Dinner,we headed down to clarke quay for countdown where all the marts like 7-11 & Cheers were filled with people.REALLY FLOODING WITH PEOPLE buying drinks and tibits. And we squeezed our way through to get some for ourselves and settled down by the riverside ready for countdown!(though there was no fireworks) but honestly speaking, i'm not hyped bout watching that either, it's like so common when i go M'sia,i'll at least see 2 or 3 families putting fireworks(even from afar + not even festive seasons yet) and nobody really give a damn about it either. But in Singapore, Guess everyone's treating fireworks like a BIG HOO-HAA,like anywhere that has a best site of fireworks would be filled with people. but nahhhhs

And Mac Delivery in the middle of the night(or isit morning?) haha whatever....

Cabbed home in the morning at 8am and i totally crashed on my bed. Great Day!

Still remembered very clearly how i celebrated my my New Year on the 2011. My last moments of 2010 was well spent with @daphhhhh @chrystalyang & @tohtohshan !!!! chrystal,shan and i went to clarke quay to countdown,then headed down to town to look for daphne and stayover at chrystal's place. It was so much fun with them that night that i can't forget, how we protected each other when we walked through the "alley of clubs" at clarke quay, How tired we were when we slept at each other's shoulders in the mrt, how we sang and dance in the kitchen while cooking maggie, the looks of us wearing the super big tees with shorts and watching Kpop Live on TV while eating supper. Really miss those times,the good memories.

2011 was good and bad. Just hope 2012 would be a greater year for all of us! I'm glad that i still have friends that are still with me and i would treasure you guys like gold! And more friendship matters, i shall not publicize here as i think i have made myself very clear in my text to those who matters to me so much. Thank you for being such a wonderful friends in the 2011 and would really hope we'll still stay together during 2012. Mwahhh <3

Last but not least....

To my wonderful boyfriend Mr Seah. 2011 was the year that brought us together. Thank god for your time and patience for me and finally got together after sooo soo long! hehe. I'm so glad to have you,when i was in the verge of wanting a break up, thanks for holding onto me no matter how many times i've mentioned to you. Though we haven't been together for long, but i'm already glad and thankful for all the things you've done for me. When i tweeted "guys who sing bruno mars- just the way you are and marry me while playing guitar to his girl :') " you did that for me. When i randomly asked you to cook for me one day, you did it too though it wasn't yummy the first time,but you done a better job the second time!:') Thanks for sending me home everyday to my block no matter how late it is or no matter how tired you are. Thanks for being there for me when i'm not feeling well,buying me fever pads and prescribing me medicines. Thanks for carrying my laptop for me everyday after school knowing it's heavy,buying me snacks to munch at home during my exam period knowing i'll be sleepy when i study, giving me wake up call in the middle of the night to wake up and study plus accompany me through the night while i'm studying. Fetching me to work from school though you have no school that day,buying me stuffs on my wishlist, accompanying me everywhere and never complained single thing. You've never shown any attitude to me,scold me or angry at me despite those mood swings,tantrums and downtimes i threw to you. You've always been this nice and sometimes i really wonder what i'll do so that you'll raise voice at me or angry with me, but you'll forever say "you won't". I'm so lucky to have you in 2011.

Late night suppers at my Uncle's shop!!

See how old the shop is. Well what to expect,it's a kampong after all!

AND THIS IS THE SHIT. I mean Good Tasty SHIT hahahahaha. Never fail to eat this fried noodles cooked by my uncle everytime i go back. IT'S A MUST COS IT'S HEAVENLY NICE. Love it SOSOSO MUCHHHHH!

The next day's Supper was settled at my a makan street called "CHINA TOWN".But not CHINA AT ALL cos it has all different cruisines. LOL. And FYI, i love how late night supper are like these kind.Where all the nice yummy food gathers at a crowded and popular place and tables and chairs are all spread out on the road(super de duper huge) with large projector TV where people watches it and have supper/drink at the same time. Love night life like these but well only if you drive (in sg)...

This STINGRAY IS DAMN AWESOME. Nicer than the ones i tried in SG.

CuttleFish Gangkong! My brother and i were amazed at their signboards.Reason: it stated"Sotong GangKong" instead of "cuttlefish gangkong" HAHAHA They definitely can't differentiate. LMFAO

BREAKFAST: This is the kind of noodles the people at my hometown eat for breakfast! And also, Our must have every morning at M'sia. Oh and btw, there are actually alot of stalls there selling this kind of dry noodles and it all taste different! The picture bellow is the kind of dry noodles at my auntie's district!! (there's another kind too,*scroll bellow)

love them. though i don't always hang out with these two girls,but whenever i'm with them, i'm happy and comfortable because at least i know we are true to each other. no backstabbing,no faking. that's what i love about them.Forever so caring,nice and Real... we can be shooting each other the whole day. but we know we got no hard feelings.

shan shan was the first girl i got to know in my clique. I know people came and left(in my clique) throughout my poly years, i know she is the one whom i've been with so far. my first impression of her wasn't good but she was super friendly and talkative-which is good! I've been through alot with her. Her breakups, her happy moments, our last day of 2010 together etc. Till now,besides her look that has changed, nothing changed at all.. :')
no matter how long i've yet to see her around in school or even hang out,everytime when i ask her out,she'll be super steady and it'll just feel like i just met her yesterday.i don't feel distant at all.
This is what i call friends.Even if you don't meet up everyday,talk everyday,go out everyday,you still treausre each other as much as you did when you first became friends with her.You still treat her like the friend you used to treat her as. nothing should change at all. i bet if you know this girl(shanshan) well,you'll agree with me,no matter what negative points she has(well we all have bad points!) she's a wonderful friend (:

And chrystal! Another "girl" whom i've known for the longest cos we were Year 1 Sem 1 classmate. We both have things we don't like about each other(apparently our first impression was that bad) which is the reason why we didn't talk to each other at all even when we are classmates. But after getting to know her and bringing her in my clique which gives us more time to be close together and understand each other more!
She is the person i'll meet when i have nothing on and rotting at home,she's the person whom i tell my worries and thoughts to. She's the person who always accompany me shopping without complains. and alot more.She's the person whom i can read her mind and interpret what she wants to say.which i can say i understand her a lot.
This is why i treasure her. She's a friend like shan shan. True, sincere,kind,caring and not fake. Though she is very "Guai lan" i must say! but i know we treat each other like true friends. Once again,i don't meet up with her that often before,during / after school like how we used to, because we are in the different field of school, she got her own friends,her own activities and of course her freedom. We, all as a friend should know what, being good friends with one another doesn't mean meeting up everyday/talking everyday but when we really meet up, we are like how we used to be. And we are totally like that. We'll realize though we haven't been hanging out that often, we haven't changed at all.

we all know friends around us leaves and change. but thank god for those who are still with me.because i know in my heart,truly, friends comes before everything(though family comes first). Breakfast at Old airport Road on a Sunday.

there's only 2 things that i'll eat every Sunday when im there.

1) Lor mee (but be prepared to queue for at least 40 mins)
2) Kway Chap (but be prepared to queue for half and hour or more depending on what time you reach)
Both are my favorite and it taste SO SO SO NICE. I swear.

and for side dish, it'll be the Chee Cheong Fan! it has fillings inside too!

Finally got to try the new stall in my school.

First time cooking spicy rice cake! It was a success but got a little sick of it after a few mouths. Think i cooked too much. haha

School's out, and this 2 weeks of holidays are like so short for me. Gotta be real busy cos i'll be in overseas for 8 days. I looked at my calendar and it's really packed already.
I've yet to study for my BTT! FYI: i made a bet with my daddy, if i were to ONE TIME pass my BTT, he'll give me 100 bucks and vice versa. it's quite a huge bet for me! and apparently my family think i can't pass my BTT. So,i'll show them!

Love how my holidays are so packed with things to do. which also means lesser time to brood over useless stuffs and make myself so depressed. X'mas is coming! Nothing to look forward to because i don't really celebrate xmas plus i'm always not in sg during xmas including this year!

A year is also coming to an end,a lot of things happened and a lot of things changed. Yes, i'm contented with life and thank god for clearing my eyes.

i had a real battle with the dead last night. it was awful and i totally got defeated in myself. never felt so depressed in my life,i thought i couldn't make it.But i did, i survived in the 3 hrs plus of tears and pain and woke up miserably to find myself skipping school again. reason:
#1 my childishness of showing attitude to them.
#2 swollen eyes
#3 the real reason: couldn't battle with the reality.

self disclaimer: **not trying to be emotional here. but thats the fact.**
life is short. we don't know what we're fighting for.why are we studying so hard?for a cert? for a good paid job in the future? and what is the outcome of all these hardwork? enjoy life > die.
That's life. In short : we work so hard but we still have to face death. You'll never know what happens tmr,you maybe rich,smart,have everything in the world but faces the dark the next day. So what for?

School makes me so sick. the only thing to look forward to everyday is eating after school.

chocolates to boost my day. i really need it,always feel like partialing or skipping school nowadays. this is bad....

In my sweater and jeans. didn't know the weather would be so hot! oh i think i'm always this unlucky. When i wear knitted/sweater top, the weather would be super hot afterwards and when i wear my shorts and sleeveless wear, it'll be so freezing cold. OH! AND AND! it never fails to rain when i wear my birks. -.- (fyi birks are so fragile when it "touches" water. :( so sad )

Money is never enough. I used to hold 2 jobs. I used earn double/triple of how much i earn now. I've never complained that i'm broke. I don't really think alot when i want to buy something(be it expensive or not). I shop almost every week. i spend money like water flowing out of the tap. i don't even really have a wishlist cos i buy almost everything i want(smth realistic). I spend alot on food, hair,and clothes. I can dye my hair so often, cut my hair countless time, always eating good food, always shopping and still never broke. But it was what i used to be....

KOI bubble milk(Green) Tea. Best Drink in KOI i had so far. But Gong Cha Milk green tea is still my all time fav!!! Not a Fan of KOI cos

(1) i don't like it when they always have half a cup full of pearls(So i usually ask for less pearl so it taste better!) ,

2) i think they don't have a consistency in their level of sweetness Sometimes 80% is fucking sweet sometimes is not then 100% is like diabetes drink. -.-

Went Caramel for dinner after school! Finally its opened after a tedious trip there but it was closed for some private events. And we were lucky cos there was only one table that is free cos others were reserved!

Sucha nice place to chill and slack and the interior design is so cute and vintage! But a side note, there are closing soon! (5Nov) so sad to close down sucha awesome place :(

So Yesterday, i helped my bro to tutor one of his student cos he was busy with school stuffs. It was a really good experience because i get to learn alot of things at the same time! Though it's just tutoring at P4 kid English, i realized the standard from my time has really gone up alot already! I could totally understand how my tutor was feeling when she asked a question and all she gets is "slience or don't know" kinda reply. 2hrs of talking non-stop,time-management,marking of assesmentbook(without answers) was quite a challenge for a newbie like me. but i think i did a good job though.*pat on the shoulder. hehe

i would really like to be a tutor myself if i have the time. but school's timing is already a barrier to what i wanna do :(

Brandon turns 19!

Went over to his house to surprise him. And part of my plan was to get his sister's contact number so that i could enter his house and give him a HOO HAA. Hahaha. Saw his sleepy face on the bed when i came in with his cake... EPIC MOMENT. xoxo

Bought this leopard iphone cover at cine. Wanted a leopard hp cover so much. but regretted after i got it cos i saw a mickey mouse cover that's really nice at the FLEA!!!! okay i always do things that end up regretting. :(

Bought Famous Amos Cookie for the boy. He love COOKIES alot for dunnoe what reason. And found out that his favourite cookie is from Famous Amos. Luckily i bought the correct one!!

Wanted to go Hairloom and Caramel for dinner at shaw towers. Which we thought and people told us that it was at TOWN. But We got it all wrong! We walked from one direction to another by some guides from security guards. Bet they don't know what we're saying told us the wrong way! And we found out from google map that Shaw Towers is at BUGIS. So we cabbed down to bugis. AND guess what? It's closed for some private event. -.- SUAY OR WHAT!!!

Hence we settled down for some new try-outs near bugis....the food was not bad! and the ambience was quite goood too

Woke up late, couldn't find the clothes I wanna wear, mum cooked too much that I needed to finish all (almost puke), screwed my make up cos I was running late, eye liner smudged, lost my key. So pissed off with myself today. More angry with people who touch my closet when I wasn't at home. Really really really fucking hate people who anyhow touches my clothes and anyhow place them and I end up having a hard time (not even finding it!!)

And one last thing I really loathe people staring or scanning me. Like seriously? My face got dirt or what?!?! Stop looking from the head to toe non stop plus I'm not in the mood. Especially when aunties can't stop staring at me. What's their problem really? I could understand why a teenager would do that totally but ahjumma? Come on?!
